Super-Resolution Microscopy 2019

Get an introduction to the techniques that are breaking the resolution limit and won a Nobel price in 2014.

Super-resolution microscopy breaks the ‘diffraction barrier’, allowing molecular level resolution and new discoveries.
In the morning lecture, this course teaches the theory and principles of sub-diffraction imaging and will give insights into new technologies like expansion microscopy.

The afternoon session then offers hands on training in localization (STORM) and structured illumination (SIM) methods.
